We are excited to share the June 2024 edition of our SAMS monthly series, wherein we bring you a consolidated view of the monthly changes to all major global sanctions lists.
Approximately 1052 people and organizations were added to the global major sanctions list in the first month of June 2024. Leading the plot, OFAC USA expanded its database by 504 names. The European Union sanctioned 93 people and 55 entities, while Global Affairs Canada sanctioned 165 people and 29 entities.
101 new names were added to the list by the United Kingdom HM Treasury, and 6 organizations and 51 people were sanctioned by SECO, Switzerland.
The Japan Ministry of Finance and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs sanctioned 40 and 8 names, respectively.
All these names were updated in our proprietary database in real-time, ensuring our clients always stay globally and locally compliant.
