We are pleased to present the March 2025 edition of our SAMS monthly series, which provides you with a comprehensive overview of the monthly modifications to all significant international sanctions lists.

In March 2024, some 769 individuals and groups were added to the list of major sanctions worldwide. SECO Switzerland added 227 more names to its database. Global Affairs Canada sanctioned 179 businesses and 44 individuals, while the European Union sanctioned 173 names.

34 individuals, 43 organizations, and 21 vessels were sanctioned by the United States’ OFAC. The United Kingdom's HM Treasury added 24 names to their database. Each of the 12 names was approved by the Japanese Ministry of Finance and the United Nations.

All these names were updated in our proprietary database in real time, ensuring our clients always stay globally and locally compliant.
