SAMS Newsletter - November 2023

• November saw the addition of 771 sanctions to the lists; of these, 425 were individuals, 340 were entities, and 6 were vessels
• 380+ names were added by OFAC (112 individuals, 263 entities, and 6 vessels)
• A total of 55 new sanctions were imposed by UKHMT, targeting 44 individuals and 11 entities
• SECO, Switzerland, sanctioned 177 individuals and27 entities
• Canada's Global Affairs department added 89 names, comprising 35 entities and 54 individuals
• Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs sanctioned 2 entities and 12 individuals.
• Ministry of Finance Japan sanctioned total of 4individuals and 1 entity
• European Union further sanctioned 22 individuals and 1 entity
