We are excited to present to you the August 2024 edition of our SAMS monthly series, which provides you with a comprehensive overview of the monthly updates to all significant international sanctions lists
In August 2024, a total of 547 individuals and organizations were added to the global major sanctions list. The plot's leader, OFAC USA, added 443 more identities to its database. Global Affairs Canada added 25 persons and 9 entities to the list, while the SECO, Switzerland, sanctioned 36 individuals and 1 entity.
11 new names were added to the list by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Australia, and 8 organizations and 14 people were sanctioned by United Kingdom HM Treasury.
All these names were updated in our proprietary database in real-time, ensuring our clients always stay globally and locally compliant.
